Gamba Osaka (Japan) Sho Kurata 20tes Jubiläum J League

 Thanks to my great host Motoko for this jersey!

Motoko recieved this shirt from the parents of Shu Kurata,

and gave it to me, to become a piece of my collection!

Shu Kurata is a central midfielder.

Gamba Osaka finished the 2016 season on 4^th place and is one of the most

supported clubs in Japan!

Gamba Osaka was founded 1980 as company team of Matsushita (Panasonic).

1991 the club was named to “Gamba Osaka“.

The name Gamba Osaka has a special connotation. Osaka as name of the city they come from, and “Gamba“ refers to the japanese verb “gambaru“ for fighting, and the imperative “gambare“ is an often used chant for japanese clubs. But also,as you can see in the club colours, that there is a connection to the italian football. Gamba means „“leg“ in Italian,and the club colours do remind many supporters of Internazionale Milano.

Omiya Ardija (Japan) 2016 Goalkeeper

The club's nickname is “Squirrels of Saitama“, it was chosen by the company NTT, as reflection of their company culture : " Squirrels are nice outsiders, quick,skillful and good workers“.

The club was founded 1969 as “NTT Kanto“, a company team of the tele communication brand NTT.

Renamed to Omiya Ardija on 4^th December,1998.

Omiya is situated near to Tokio in Omiya,Saitama.

Getting relegated in 2014, playing 2015 in the second league, getting up again and finishing with a strong 5^th place. So,the last season was a major success for the club. 

Bangkok United(Thailand)

 This nice shirt of Bangkok United I got in Japan from the filmmaker  Yoshikatsu . Thank you for that gift!
Bangkok United is currently on the 2nd place in the first league of Thailand, 18 points in front of Bangkok Glass and 5 points behind Muangthong.
Bangkok United was founded in 1988 as Bangkok University FC and later in 2006 renamed to Bangkok United FC.
Bangkok United are currently being trained by Alexandre Pölking a brazilian/german coach.

Chivas Guadalajara (Mexiko) Matchworn Luis Michel

What a nice design!

 This jersey of Chivas Guadalajara from Mexico, is worn by goalkeeper Luis Michel. Luis Michel mostly wears short-sleeved goalie shirts. Luis Michel has 8 caps,and had his debut in 2010 for the Mexican national team.

Chivas Guadalajara comes from the city of Guadalajara, a huge city in Mexico, and has a lot of supporters. However, the supporters name is often mentioned as "the goats".
This comes from the fact,that once, similar as to FC Köln (also similar club colours) the goat has been a mascot of the club. Chivas is currently holding 11 league titles,right behind Club America with 12 league titles.

Chernomorets Burgas (Bulgaria) Matchworn H.Gonzalez 2009/2010

 This shirt is a matchworn jersey of Hector Gonzalez, midfielder with 53 caps for Venezuela.
The shirt was worn in the 2009/2010 season,before Hector moved to Cyprus to play for Alki Larnaca.
Chernomorets Burgas,was founded in 2005 by the mayor of the city of Burgas. The club, especially in the beginning,suffered a lot under dodgy persons in the background and a lot of corruption.
So it wasnt meant for the club to have a bright future.
Right now the best team in Burgas is Neftochimik.
Nevertheless,nice,genuine,matchworn jersey!

Deportivo Tachira (Venezuela) Matchworn Yohandry Orozco Copa Libertadores

 Here I show you a nice piece of the Copa Libertadores!
Matchworn jersey of Yohandry Orozco.
Once playing at VfL Wolfsburg in Germany, he is now playing at New York Cosmos.
Yohandry got 25 caps for the Venezuela National Team and mostly plays as winger or left midfielder.
The shirt was worn in the Copa Libertadores in 2015.
Deportivo Tachira is a venezoelan team from San Cristobal and was founded 1974. Right now they hold the 4th place in league,but are in a good situation,only 3 points behind 1st place.

Deportivo Alaves (Spanien) 2016/2017 Home

I won this nice home jersey (2016/2017) of Deportivo Alaves in a betting competition of the manufacturer Hummel.
As you can see,the design is very classic, and is a trade mark for the club,as well as for the manufacturer Hummel.
Right now, Alaves is standing on 13th place in "La Liga".
The club is probably most famous for their UEFA Cup game against Liverpool.

FK Liepaja (Lettland) 2016 Vladimirs Kamess Adizero

 Here I show you a nice jersey of FK Liepaja,Latvia.
Worn in the 2016 season, player Vladimirs Kamess.
FK Liepaja finished last year on 4th place, right behind FK Jelgava and in front of FC Riga.
Vladmirs Kamess,a right winger,with 13 national games for Latvia,  now plays at Enisey Krasnojarsk.
For FK Liepaja he made 8 scorer in 14 games.

Borussia Mönchengladbach (Deutschland) 2015/2016 3rd

 This nice jersey of my favorite club Borussia Mönchengladbach was worn during their 2015/2016 campaign as 3rd jersey.
Borussia Mönchengladbach finished 4th, and this allowed them to play in the Champions League 2016/2017.
The "Fohlenelf" is one of the most respected clubs in Germany, with passionate supporters and a long history.
In the 70s they won 5 league titles.

Manchester United (England) Away 2009/2010

This beautiful away shirt was worn by Manchester United, in their 09/10 season, in which they finished 2nd only one point  behind Chelsea London.

FC Ryukyu (Japan) Matchworn Satoki Uejo 2016
